Astra submits for authorization and follows up – typically 2–7 days. You never call insurance.

Therapy begins at home
A BCBA completes a play-based assessment in your home, then your matched team begins care.
No waitlist for intake. Once we receive your family’s documents, authorization typically takes 2–7 days. Start of care is your child’s initial assessment.

How will you help my child?
Every child is different, so your in-home plan is built around your child. We focus on the skills that matter day to day - communication, behavior, social skills, independence, and routines - with goals we set together.
Does insurance cover ABA therapy?
In North Carolina, many Medicaid and private plans cover medically necessary ABA therapy for children with an autism diagnosis. We verify your specific benefits before anything begins - and we submit the paperwork for you.
How fast can we get started?
There’s no waitlist for intake. Once we receive your family’s documents, authorization typically takes 2–7 days. That window is insurance authorization — not the first therapy session. Start of care is your child’s initial assessment.
